Baroda Warriers monthly meeting October 2026
'ബറോഡ വാരിയേഴ്സി'ന്റെ 2026 ഒക്ടോബർ മാസത്തെ പ്രതിമാസ യോഗം, 2026 ഒക്ടോബർ 25-ന് (ഞായറാഴ്ച) വൈകുന്നേരം 5:30 മുതൽ, ബറോഡയിലെ ദിവാളിപുര, വാസ്ന റോഡ്, ശബരി സ്കൂളിന് സമീപം, സുകൃതിനഗർ-2-ന് എതിർവശത്തുള്ള 'ശിവ്-വാടിക' (Shiv-Vatika) എന്ന കെട്ടിടസമുച്ചയത്തിലെ A-103 നമ്പർ വസതിയിൽ (ശ്രീമതി ഉഷയുടെയും ശ്രീ വി.കെ. ശശിധരന്റെയും വസതിയിൽ) വെച്ച് നടന്നു. സാധാരണ അജണ്ടയിലേക്ക് കടക്കുന്നതിന് മുൻപായി, 'ബറോഡ വാരിയേഴ്സ്' (Baroda Warriers) കുടുംബവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട, നമ്മെ വിട്ടുപിരിഞ്ഞ രണ്ട് വ്യക്തികൾക്ക് ആദരാഞ്ജലികൾ അർപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അംഗങ്ങൾ രണ്ട് മിനിറ്റ് മൗനം ആചരിച്ചു:
(1) പരേതയായ ഷീല രാജു (59) - (കുമാരനെല്ലൂർ വാര്യം, വടക്കാഞ്ചേരി; പുത്തരിക്കോവിൽ വാര്യം പി.വി. രാജുവിന്റെ ഭാര്യ). 2026 ഒക്ടോബർ 6-ന് രാത്രി തൃശൂരിൽ വെച്ചാണ് ഇവർ അന്തരിച്ചത്. മുൻപ് ബറോഡയിൽ താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന ഇവർ പിന്നീട് തൃശൂരിലേക്ക് താമസം മാറുകയായിരുന്നു.
(2) പരേതയായ തങ്കമണി വാരസ്യാർ (82) - (പൂക്കോട് വാര്യം, ദേവി നഗർ, പൂങ്കുന്നം; കുട്ടുമുക്ക് വേങ്ങനെല്ലൂർ വാര്യം ബാലരാമന്റെ ഭാര്യ). 2026 ഒക്ടോബർ 18-ന് തൃശൂരിൽ വെച്ചാണ് ഇവർ അന്തരിച്ചത്. നമ്മുടെ അംഗമായ ശ്രീമതി ജയശ്രീ വിജയന്റെ അമ്മായിയായിരുന്നു ഇവർ.
ശ്രീമതി അനിതയും ശ്രീ അജിത് രാധാകൃഷ്ണനും തങ്ങളുടെ മകൻ അർജുന് എം.ബി.ബി.എസ് (MBBS) കോഴ്സിന് പ്രവേശനം ലഭിച്ച സന്തോഷവാർത്ത പങ്കുവെച്ചു.
ഈ സുപ്രധാന നേട്ടം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നതിനായി കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങൾ മധുരപലഹാരങ്ങൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു. ശ്രീമതി അനിതയുടെ മാതാപിതാക്കളായ ശ്രീ മോഹൻദാസും ശ്രീമതി രാധിക മോഹൻദാസും ചടങ്ങിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തത് സന്തോഷം ഇരട്ടിയാക്കി; അവർക്ക് ഊഷ്മളമായ സ്വാഗതം നേരുന്നു.
വൈദ്യശാസ്ത്ര രംഗത്ത് വിജയകരമായ ഒരു കരിയർ കെട്ടിപ്പടുക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള അർജുന്റെ ഈ ഉദാത്തമായ യാത്രയ്ക്ക്, മുഴുവൻ അംഗങ്ങളും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ഹൃദയം നിറഞ്ഞ അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങളും ആശംസകളും നേരുന്നു.
അർജുന്റെ മാതാപിതാക്കൾക്കും മുത്തശ്ശീമുത്തശ്ശന്മാർക്കും മറ്റ് കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങൾക്കും ഈ അവസരത്തിൽ അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങൾ അറിയിക്കുന്നു.
നമ്മുടെ ഗ്രൂപ്പ് അംഗമായ ശ്രീമതി ലക്ഷ്മി മുരളീധരൻ, ശ്രീമതി പ്രിയ ബിമൽ (ശ്രീമതി ഇന്ദിരയുടെയും ശ്രീ മുകുന്ദൻ യു-വിന്റെയും മകൾ - അടുത്തിടെയാണ് യു.എസിൽ നിന്ന് എത്തിയത്) എന്നിവരുടെ സാന്നിധ്യം ഈ ഒത്തുചേരലിന് കൂടുതൽ സന്തോഷം പകർന്നു.
അടുത്ത ഒത്തുചേരൽ (Get-together) ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്യുന്നത് ശ്രീമതി ലക്ഷ്മിയും ശ്രീ മുരളീധരനും ചേർന്നായിരിക്കും.

The monthly meet - for the month of October 2026 - of Baroda Warriers has been held today, 25-10-2026 (Sunday) (7th-K of 20S) from 17.30 hrs onwards in the residence of Mrs Usha & Mr VK Sasidharan at A-103, Shiv-Vatika, Opp : Sukrutiinagar-2, Nr Sabari School, Vasna Road, Diwalipura, Baroda.
Prior to the usual agenda, the members observed a two-minute silence to pay respect and tribute to two departed souls connected to the Baroda Warriers family:
(1) Late Sheela Raju (59), (Kumaranellur Varyam, Vadakkanchery, (Wife of Mr. P.V. Raju - Puthrykovil Varyam), who passed away in Thrissur on the night of 6th October 2026. The family previously resided in Baroda and now settled in Thrissur.
(2) Late Thankamani Varasyar (82) (Pookottu Variyam, Devi Nagar, Poonkunnam, Wife of Mr. Balaraman - Kuttumukku Venganellur Warriam), who passed away on 18th October 2026 in Thrissur. She was the aunt (Ammayi) of our Mrs. Jayasree Vijayan.
Mrs. Anita & Mr. Ajith Radhakrishnan shared the joyous news that their son, Mr. Arjun, has secured admission into the MBBS programme.
To celebrate this massive milestone, the family distributed sweets. The gathering extended a warm welcome to Mrs. Anita's parents, Mr. Mohandas & Mrs. Radhika Mohandas, whose presence added to the happiness of the occasion.
The entire team expressed heartiest congratulations to Mr. Arjun and wished him the absolute best as he begins his noble journey toward a successful career in medicine.
Congratulations were also extended to his proud parents, grandparents, and the extended family.
The presence of our Group member, Mrs Lakshmi Muralidharan and Mrs Priya Bimal (D/o Mrs Indira & Mr Mukundan U, recently reached from US) also bought a warm charm to this meeting.
The next Get-together will be planned by Mrs Lakshmi & Mr Muralidharan.
