It was a long cherished dream of the WarrierSamajam to own a building at Guruvayoor. Akshaya, the three storied building encompassing the Central Office and Cultural Centre. Akshaya on the Inner Ring Road, East Nada is within the close circuit of the Lord Sree Krishna temple, Railway Station and the bus stand. The Mammiyur Siva temple, the Thiruvenkatachalapathy Temple and the Parthasarathy temple come within an easy reach from the resort. We are extremely proud and privileged to note the following work has already been completed and let out to the public since September ’99.

Nalamabalam Yathra By Warrier Samajam Coimbatore Unit

NALAMBALAM YATRA - 2011- Photos & Report by Rajaram varier

Warrier Samajam Coimbatore organized a “Nalambala Yatra “ to God’s Own Country (Kerala) on 30.7.2011. The day was auspicious on account of Karkatika Vavu day and Saturday. 13 members of the samjam joined the yatra. Started by 6.00 hrs on 30.7.2011 from Coimbatore the group reached Triprayar Sree Rama temple by 10.00 hrs. and had a good darshan and vazhipaadu offerings . Enroute visited a Sree Ayyappa temple on the outskirt of Wadakkancherry. From Triprayar travelled to Irinjalakuda Sree Bharatha Temple, and had a satisfying darshan and temple offerings by 11.00 hrs. From this temple we moved to Thirumuzhikulam Sree Lakshmanan Temple by 12.00 noon. We could get good darshan before noon closure of the temple. At Thirumuzhikulam temple, some members offered “Annadanam Contribution “ to devotees and all had the delicious taste of “ Annadanam” offered by the temple authorities. We moved from there to darshan of Sree Shatrugnan temple at Payammal and reached the temple by 15.30 hrs, and waited there to re-open the temple for darshan till 16.30 hrs. All had offerings according to their choices and had the famous Sudarshan Chakra Pooja offerings for the prosperity of mankind. Payammal Temple is under rennovtion for providing better facilities to devotees. This way all the members in the “Yatra” opined everyone had darshan with satisfaction without much devotees crowd in all the 4 temples. Waiting time for darshan was minimum in all the 4 temples according the time convenience of the devotees. Then after a brief halt at Kuttanellur for relaxing the return yatra continued and reached Coimbatore by 23.00 hours on 30.7.11. The members expressed satisfaction in the Nalambala Yatra, and thanked Warrier Samajam Coimbatore for organizing such a memorable Devotional-cum- spiritual tour.
